The following is a list of places holding public celebrations for the Fourth of July weekend, and what's going on there:
FOLSOM
Friday: Cattle drive on Sutter Street, followed by Steers and Stripes Block Party USA, 6 p.m. Barbecue dinner, 200 Wool St., $15 for adults. Children 12 and younger will be treated to a kid's meal.
Saturday, Sunday, Monday: Folsom Pro Rodeo, Dan Russell Arena, Folsom City Park, Natoma and Stafford streets, 7 p.m. Fireworks nightly. Tickets: $17, general admission; $15, seniors and children 12 and younger. RANCHO CORDOVA
Rancho Cordova Hometown 4th of July, Saturday-Monday, Hagan Park, Chase Drive, off Coloma Road.
Saturday: Carnival, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.; concert, 6:30 p.m.
Sunday: Festival in the Park - carnival, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.; concert, 8:30 p.m.; fireworks, 9:45 p.m.

PLACERVILLE
Fourth of July Family Blast.
Monday: 4 p.m., El Dorado County Fairgrounds, 100 Placerville Drive, Placerville. Barbecue, children's activities and contests, musical entertainment, fireworks at dusk. Admission is $3 per person for walk-up; $15 per carload includes on-grounds parking and admission for up to six people; $20 for RVs includes on-grounds parking and admission for up to six people.
